About the Role

As cancer treatments evolve at unprecedented speed, it has become increasingly difficult for oncologists — especially general oncologists — to stay up to date on every new therapy, trial, and clinical advancement. At the same time, BioPharma companies face growing challenges reaching these busy clinicians to understand their information needs, educational gaps, and practice realities.

That’s where Primum comes in. Every day, more than 800 oncologists use Primum’s platform for real-time, peer-to-peer consultations. These conversations generate rich insights into how oncologists think, what challenges they face, and where they need more support.

By translating these insights, Primum helps BioPharma partners deeply understand and meet the needs of community oncologists — ensuring that education, strategy, and engagement are rooted in real-world experience. When we do that, oncologists are better equipped to deliver the most informed, effective care to their patients.

Primum is seeking a Director, Strategic Partner & Client Delivery to serve as a hands-on partner and extension of our BioPharma clients’ teams. This individual will distill insights from Primum’s physician network into clear, actionable strategies — helping our partners accelerate education and information to oncologists at the front lines.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact and strategic partner for BioPharma clients — building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment between Primum’s insights and client objectives.
  • Work closely with the analytics lead to interpret data findings, identifying key trends, themes, and unmet needs in oncology practice.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations and recommendations that inform commercial and medical strategy.
  • Always think through the “so what?” — translating insights into clear, actionable next steps that help clients better understand and support community oncologists.

Clinical Storytelling & Data Interpretation

  • Translate data into cohesive, impactful narratives that drive actionable improvements in provider awareness and education.
  • Partner with analytics and operations teams to contextualize insights within each client’s therapeutic area, business objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for educational or strategic engagement based on emerging patterns in Primum’s data — connecting insights directly to impact.

Medical Education & Content Development

  • Develop and direct educational content grounded in real-world insights — including case-based discussions, interactive learning modules, and field training materials.
  • Collaborate with clinical experts and internal teams to ensure all content is accurate, balanced, and clinically meaningful.
  • Support BioPharma partners in designing education initiatives that close knowledge gaps, strengthen understanding, and positively influence practice behavior.

Presentation Development

  • Create and deliver visually compelling, data-driven presentations using Google Slides and PowerPoint.
  • Translate complex clinical and data insights into clear, visually engaging materials that resonate with both executive audiences and day-to-day contacts.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, structure, and storytelling in all client-facing deliverables.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about doing good, meaningful work.

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) required.
  • Strong understanding of oncology, clinical practice, and data interpretation.
  • 5+ years in BioPharma, medical affairs, consulting, or medical communications with direct client interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations; exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven experience developing and presenting medical or educational content.
  • Fluency in Google Slides and/or PowerPoint; ability to design clear, professional, and visually engaging presentations.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; strong executive presence.
  • Highly collaborative, strategic, and motivated by improving cancer care through data and education.

You understand the realities of oncology practice and help BioPharma partners focus on what matters most. A natural storyteller, educator, and strategist, you bring meaning to data and impact to communication. As a trusted advisor to pharma clients, you consistently apply their lens when reviewing evidence, shaping insights, and guiding action.
